  • Goat Springs Trail

    When hiking, always remember to dress appropriately, carry emergency gear, food, water, and necessary supplies for survival. Goat Springs Trail is the trail closest to The Family Lodge. It is approximately 14 miles round trip. It passes Saddle Mountain and ends at Blake Gubbler Trail head. There are no picnic areas or campgrounds on this trail. For more difficult hiking: Blake Gubbler to Forsyth which connect from Goat Springs. For Forsyth Trail hiking enter at Meadows Drive.

    Pine Valley Recreation Area

    When hiking, always remember to dress appropriately, carry emergency gear, food, water, and necessary supplies for survival. The Recreational Area of Gardner Peak Trail-head is just past the entrance station to Dixie National Forest. The trail is approximately 6 miles long with several picnic and campground areas. There is also a guard station mid-way. The birds-eye-view of Pine Valley is a must see for visitors and locals alike. Biking, hiking, camping, and hose-back riding are permitted.

    Pine Valley Reservoir

    Fishing fun from May 15 to September! No swimming or boating allowed.

    Come by for a tour with your family, shop our local produce, jams, and a local town hamburger stand. We have golf-cart tours, bathrooms, and a playground. Please call ahead. If you’re lucky enough to be in town during summer, especially August, make a day of it and take a pick-your-own berries tour (dress appropriately).

    Pine Valley Heritage Center

    The Pine Valley Heritage Center provides visitor information such as literature and maps (free and for sale), puzzles, books, Smokey Bear clothing and souvenirs. There are free materials for children.

    Signal Peak

    When hiking, always remember to dress appropriately, carry emergency gear, food, water, and necessary supplies for survival. Hike up to Signal Peak for miraculous views of southern Utah’s finest wilderness. Signal Peak is the highest peak in the area. Begin at Browns Point Trail head and hike to Nay Canyon, onward to Summit Trail Junction, then finally head to Signal Peak. 11 miles round trip from Browns Point to Signal Peak and back, 3500 foot climb.     Hebron Cemetery

    Hebron is a ghost town near Enterprise, UT, just north-east of Pine Valley. It was settled by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1862. It was destroyed by earthquake in 1902. All that is left is the cemetery.

    Go west from Enterprise 6.5 miles on Highway 219. Turn right onto the dirt road and go another 1 mile to the cemetery. 435-275-7409
